It was January 2020. After years of shooting in home studios and transforming living rooms into sets, this felt like a huge milestone—a space that was just for SchlickArt. A space that meant we were really doing this.

We threw a grand opening on March 13th, complete with ribbon cutting, laughter, and so many hugs. Less than 24 hours later, the world shut down.

Like so many small businesses, we had to pivot quickly—and then pivot again. But somehow, between the chaos and the quiet, this little studio became a place of growth, connection and creativity. We figured it out one shoot, one strategy session, one cup of British tea at a time.

Now, five years later, we’re packing up that beloved space and moving on to a new chapter—one that reflects how far we’ve come, and the kind of support we want to keep offering to the business community we love so much.

Saying Goodbye to a Space That Built Us

Looking back, it’s hard not to get emotional. This studio has been so much more than four walls and a front door.

We hired our first Studio Operations Assistant here. Held countless planning sessions armed with giant Post-it boards and a handful of Sharpies. We mapped marketing campaigns, reworked strategies, and set goals we weren’t sure we could reach.

We made silly Reels. We learned how to bring people in the door. We did work we were proud of and failed forward when we had things to learn. Sometimes we laughed until we cried, and other times we cried until we laughed again.

But through it all, we had the honor of telling your stories—capturing your milestones, celebrating your growth, and helping you show up with pride and purpose.

We’ve sat with clients in moments of reinvention, rebranding and real courage. We’ve watched dreams grow in real time. One incredible client grew her business by 31% in a single year, and we got to welcome her to the studio with open arms when she told us she finally bought a home for her kids.

These are the moments we’ll carry with us—because they were never just about a shoot or a strategy. They became part of someone’s story.

We surrounded ourselves with people who believed in what we were building, and more than anything, that’s what we’ll remember as we say goodbye.

The Next Evolution of SchlickArt

When we started SchlickArt, it was all about boutique photography. Then we added video. And slowly, we became more than a content company.

We started helping clients plan their marketing, set goals, and create strategy. We started sharing what we’d learned—not just as creatives, but as small business owners who had to figure things out from the ground up. We didn’t just help people look confident. We helped them market with confidence, too.

That shift led us here: to a new space that reflects who we are now and how we serve.

Our new space is bright, open and built for creativity. It’s filled with natural light, big windows and fresh finishes—including a few SchlickArt signature touches like deep purple accent walls and a fun grass wall for Instagram moments.

It’s a space where content gets made, confidence grows, and strategy sessions feel more like conversations between friends.

We Couldn’t Have Done This Without You

To our clients, friends, and power partners: Thank you.

Thank you for walking through the doors of our little studio. For trusting us with your milestones. For believing in what we’re building—and for helping us build it.

This move isn’t just about a new address. It’s a celebration of every person who helped us grow into a new season of service.

If you’ve ever walked through the doors of our little studio, thank you.
And if you haven’t yet—maybe now’s the time.

With love and gratitude,
Lindsay & Brian
