If you weren’t paying attention to video marketing before 2020, there’s no way to ignore it now. So much of our lives have moved online since the COVID-19 outbreak, and if you’re focusing on video marketing, then you’re ahead of the game.
But if you’re not, don’t worry – there’s still time to create fast, easy and efficient video at your own pace.
In fact, it’s never been easier to jump start your marketing at SchlickArt Studios. Here’s the easiest, most efficient way to ease into video marketing and dip your toe in the water – no stress included.
The Easiest Way To Start Video Marketing For Your Small Business
Why Start Now?
“Media consumption is up since the outbreak, and it’s primarily video-based,” reports a Global Web Index study conducted in April. In fact, 87% of U.S. consumers say they’re watching more content. This trend is strongest in Gen Z respondents (ages 16-23), 51% of which say they’re consuming more online video than any other form of media. Not surprisingly, they most often turn to YouTube and TikTok for that content.
But it’s not just a Gen Z thing. Additionally, 44% of millennials (ages 24-37), 35% of Gen X (ages 38-56), and 11% of Baby Boomers (ages 57-64) say they’re watching more online video. And all generations report watching more livestream video.
The bottom line is: More people are watching than ever before, while conversely, our ways of marketing are more limited than ever before. If you want the most bang for your marketing buck, video is the logical choice. So if you’re not doing it, it’s probably an emotional choice.
The Easiest Way To Start Video Marketing For Small Businesses
We totally get it – video can be scary, intimidating or just “not your thing.” We’ve been there. But we also know that ignoring video just isn’t a smart business decision anymore. We all gotta do it – so why not make it as painless as possible?
One of the things that makes it easier is efficiency. Get in, get out. Get it done, do it well. Right?
Well, that’s why we’re now offering the option to add a quick video shoot onto your headshot session!
Everyone wants to look their best on video, so why not get it all done in one shot? Take your headshots with Lindsay, then rattle off a few videos with Brian. The photography process will get you warmed up and feeling good, so by the time you’re ready to shoot video, it feels like you’re just talking about what you know best: your business.
How Does It Work?
Once you’ve finished shooting your headshots with Lindsay, hop in front of the camera to shoot up to five videos in one quick session. Each video runs 1-4 minutes long, giving you up to 20 minutes of video content! Full editing services are included, so you can add your logo, music or other graphics to each video. We also have a huge variety of stylized backdrops to match your branding and create different looks. We’re happy to help you brainstorm topics, or come prepared with a script. We have supplies on hand to create cue cards or notes – whatever you need to feel confident with your delivery. Once the shoot is done, we’ll send you an edited version of your videos, and you can see the impact of video marketing for yourself!
What To Talk About
“But what do I say?!”
It’s one of the most common questions we get – and we understand why. Your words are the core of your marketing video. They communicate your message or sales pitch to your audience and, hopefully, convert leads to prospects and prospects to new clients. It’s a lot of pressure. So how do you get it right? Talk it out! Share your ideas with coworkers, family members and friends. Ask others who have tried video marketing before. And remember, we’re always here to talk ideas! Now that you have no excuses, here are a few topic ideas to get you started:
- Who are you and how can you help people? Introduce yourself!
- Are you moving to a new company and want to let your clients know?
- Are you launching a new product, service or feature you’d like to announce?
- Have you added a new member to your team?
- Are clients constantly asking you the same question?
- Have you clearly communicated the core values of your brand to your audience?
- Do you have an internal message you need to deliver to your team or new hires?
- Do you have a new process or protocol your team or clients should know about?
- What’s it like to work with you? Describe what clients can expect when getting started.
- What is your unique value? How do you stand out from the competition?
- Tell a story about a past client that had a positive outcome.
- What are the top 3 problems you can solve for your clients?
- What’s the most common misconception about your business?
- What product or service is the hidden gem in your line?
- How do you define quality in your industry?
- What charities and causes do you support and why?
- And so many more …
