Discover Britt’s next chapter at SchlickArt and how her passion for personal brand content creation helps professionals share authentic stories with confidence.

Britt opens her first beauty studio in Santa Clarita.
If you’ve known Brittany Barlog for any length of time, there’s a good chance you first met her through the beauty industry.
For years, she built relationships throughout our community, helped people feel confident, and became known for her positivity, encouragement, and genuine care for others. She showed up consistently, invested in people, and built a reputation that followed her wherever she went.
And while those things are still very much true today, there’s another side of Britt’s story that many people are just beginning to discover.
Because the truth is, Britt was never just one thing.
And neither are you.
At SchlickArt, we often talk about helping businesses grow into their next chapter. We help brands uncover their strengths, tell their stories, and evolve into the businesses they’re capable of becoming.
Over the last year, we’ve had the privilege of watching Britt do the very same thing.
A Story That Keeps Unfolding
One of the themes that comes up often in our conversations with clients is identity.
Sometimes people get stuck seeing themselves the way they’ve always been seen. Sometimes communities know us for one role, one business, or one chapter of our lives. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, growth has a way of revealing strengths we didn’t always have the opportunity to explore.
That’s where Britt found herself last summer.
After spending more than a decade building skills in the beauty industry, she knew there was more she wanted to learn, more she wanted to contribute, and more she wanted to discover about herself.
Not because she was leaving something behind.
Because she was growing into something new.
As Britt puts it, she doesn’t want to be known for one title or one role. She wants to be known as Britt first.
The same person she’s always been.
A friend.
A sister.
A community supporter.
Someone who genuinely cares about people.
Someone who believes in growth.
Someone who’s willing to try, fail, learn, and keep going.
The title may change. The person doesn’t.

The Skills You Can’t Teach
When we first approached Britt about joining SchlickArt, her response was honest.
“I don’t know how to do any of that.”
The cameras. The equipment. The software. The production side of marketing.
And she wasn’t wrong.
But what she didn’t realize was that the things we needed most were already there.
Because while you can teach someone how to operate a camera, you can’t teach them how to make people feel seen.
You can’t teach genuine enthusiasm. Curiosity. Presence.
You can’t teach someone to wholeheartedly celebrate the people around them.
From day one, Britt brought something special to our team.
She’s the bright light in our studio. Sometimes brighter than our set lights, which is saying something.
She reminds us to celebrate wins that might otherwise get overlooked.
She’s quick with encouragement.
Quick with a joke.
Quick to find the positive in a challenge.
And whether she’s talking with a client, helping on a shoot, or supporting a project behind the scenes, she has a unique ability to make people feel valued.
That’s not a marketing skill.
That’s a people skill.
And it’s one of the reasons she’s become such an important part of our team.
Finding Her Place in the Story
Today, Britt serves as our Studio Operations Assistant and supports nearly every corner of what we do.
You’ll find her producing SchlickArt TV, supporting social media initiatives, assisting on photo and video shoots, coordinating projects behind the scenes, and representing SchlickArt throughout the community.
But one area where she’s especially thriving is content creation.
As part of our Marketing Content Subscription program, Britt works directly with professionals and personal brands to help them create consistent, authentic content that reflects who they are and what they stand for.
And honestly, it’s a natural fit.
Because storytelling has always been one of her strengths.
The same ability that helped her connect with people throughout her career now helps her uncover the stories, experiences, and expertise that make our clients unique.
She knows how to listen.
She knows how to ask questions.
She knows how to spot the moments that matter.
And she knows how to turn those moments into content that feels real.
Not forced.
Not overly polished.
Just authentic.
Nothing Was Wasted
One of the things we admire most about Britt’s journey is that she never had to start over.
The skills she spent years developing didn’t disappear when she stepped into a new role.
They came with her.
Her entrepreneurial mindset.
Marketing instincts.
Communication skills.
Personal branding experience.
Her eye for scroll-stopping, story-driven content.
Every lesson became part of the foundation she’s building on today.
That’s what makes this next chapter feel so aligned.
Britt didn’t come to SchlickArt to become someone completely different. She came with years of experience helping people feel confident, communicate visually, build relationships, and show up with intention.
Now, she’s using those same instincts to help personal brands create content that feels natural, polished, and true to who they are.
Because great marketing rarely starts from scratch.
It starts by recognizing what’s already there—the personality, perspective, and story that make a brand worth following.
More Than a Job Title
At the heart of this story isn’t a career change.
It’s a reminder that growth doesn’t always mean becoming someone new.
Sometimes it means becoming more of who you’ve always been.
For Britt, that meant finding a place where her strengths could continue to grow and create value in new ways.
Those qualities have always been there. Now they’re being applied in a new way.
At SchlickArt, we help businesses uncover what makes them unique and communicate it with clarity and confidence. We help brands tell the stories only they can tell.
It’s fitting that Britt’s journey brought her here.
Because the same curiosity that led her to explore a new chapter is the same curiosity she brings to every client conversation. The same belief she has in people is what helps her recognize the stories worth telling.
She’s not looking for the most polished version of your brand.
She’s looking for the most authentic one.
The version that feels like you.
The version your clients can connect with.
The version that’s been there all along.
Because Britt was never just one thing.
And neither are you.
Ready To Work With Britt?

If you’re ready to share more of your story, build a stronger personal brand, or create content that truly reflects your expertise, we’d love to introduce you.
After all, great content doesn’t start with a camera, a caption or a social media platform.
It starts with understanding the person behind the brand.
And that’s one of Britt’s favorite things to do.

About SchlickArt
SchlickArt is a strategic marketing company based in Santa Clarita, founded in March 2012 on a simple belief: when people feel confident and clear about their marketing, their presence changes in the market.
What began as a visual storytelling studio has evolved into a fractional marketing team supporting businesses, personal brands and professionals across Santa Clarita, Los Angeles and Southern California. Today, we provide integrated marketing strategy and full-service implementation—aligning messaging, content, photography and video into cohesive systems designed to support long-term growth.
Our work is grounded in philosophy, not trends. We believe marketing is most effective when it is intentional, when it reflects your credibility, and when it connects directly to measurable business goals. Every decision—from high-level strategy to the smallest visual detail—is made with that alignment in mind.
At SchlickArt, we approach every partnership with structure, clarity and care, helping you consistently demonstrate the trust, authority and value you already bring to the table.
Because when marketing and leadership move in the same direction, growth becomes sustainable.
What’s A Fractional Marketing Team?
A fractional marketing team provides senior-level strategy and execution—without building a full internal department.
At SchlickArt, we step in to bring structure, alignment and consistency to your marketing. We integrate strategy, messaging, content, photography, and video under one clear plan so your external presence reflects the strength of your internal operations.
It’s not outsourced marketing in pieces.
It’s integrated leadership—scaled to fit your firm.
You continue leading your business.
We ensure the marketing moves with intention behind the scenes.
