Here are our SchlickArt Studios COVID-19 Health & Safety Policies For Photographers & Videographers, in preparation for a happy and healthy “new normal.”
We’ve been thinking a lot about what our “new normal” will look like as a photography and video studio. Of course, safety is our top concern for our team, clients and community.
To help us navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew we needed a set of health and safety standards – for our studio, team members and clients.
But we didn’t just want these guidelines to keep us safe; we also wanted them to help lift our spirits and find the good in this “new normal.”
As is the SchlickArt way, we will do our best to make your photography and video experience feel as fun and confident as possible.
Because we could all use an extra dose of fun right now.
So here are our SchlickArt Studios COVID-19 Health & Safety Policies that will guide us through this “new normal” with safety, levity and a little SchlickArt spirit.
Photographers & Videographers: SchlickArt Studios COVID-19 Health & Safety Policies
1. Cover Up, Buttercup!
Please wear a face mask when entering and exiting the building, to respect our office neighbors; however, during your shoot, we’ll ask you to remove your mask. The SchlickArt team will be wearing masks for the duration of your shoot.
2. Wash Your Hands, Ya Filthy Animal.
Please wash your hands once you arrive. You’ll enter the building through our downstairs lounge, where our bathroom is conveniently located. Then walk up the stairs (to the left of the bathroom) to find the studio.
3. No Germs Allowed!
All commonly touched surfaces – including door handles, props, fabrics and more – are sanitized before and after each client. We will continue to sanitize all bedding and fabrics from the Boudoir Room, as we always have, before and after each shoot. We’ve also installed contactless hand sanitizing stations throughout the studio, and we provide travel-sized hand sanitizers for all clients to use during their visit, as well as take for the road.
4. Bring Your Virus To Work Day Has Been Canceled.
You know we had to get a little bit cheeky. 🙃 If you’ve been feeling sick, or have been exposed to someone who is sick, we ask that you please reschedule your shoot, especially if you’re experiencing fever, cough or shortness of breath. We’re happy to reschedule your session once you’re feeling better.
5. We All Love Hugs But…
Not today. Unfortunately, until further notice, we will be conducting contactless shoots, which means no hugs, handshakes or hands-on touch-ups. We will still watch out for any needed touch-ups with a keen photographer’s eye, but now we’ll help you make them with a mirror and a smile.
6. Pose Like No One’s Watching.
When you schedule a session with SchlickArt, you’ll have the studio to yourself. Our staff will be working from home during client sessions, to limit the number of people in the studio. Consider it your private studio experience! See? Who said these changes had to be all bad? Not at SchlickArt. You’re a bigger star than ever at our Studio.
7. Watch Your Mouth!
Adult language is welcome, but please, honey, cover your cough. 😜 We’ll be practicing respiratory etiquette, and we encourage our clients to do the same. Please cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and wash your hands before touching another surface. We promise we’ll be following proper respiratory etiquette, too, so we can all stay healthy together.
8. You’re Just Gorgeous, Darling!
For your safety, and the safety of our stylists, we have temporarily suspended our hair and makeup services. Our in-studio makeup station is closed, too, so please bring your own makeup and cotton swabs for touch-ups. But remember you’re already gorgeous, and there’s always retouching. 😘
9. Let Us Love You From Afar.
Please help us practice social distancing while in the studio. We will be practicing social distancing by standing 6 feet apart from our clients, and we ask that our clients do the same.
10. Bad Germs Travel Fast.
If you’ve traveled outside Santa Clarita or LA County recently, for the safety of our team and clients, please wait to schedule a session until two weeks after you’ve returned home. These guidelines follow the directions of the “Safer at Home” order, which we follow her in our Studio.
11. Keep Your Hands To Yourself!
We’ve installed no-touch receptacles and hand sanitizing stations throughout our studio to make everything clean, safe and easy to use. If you need water, we will have that ready and available for you, as well, and please let us know if we can get you anything else. We also ask that, during your session, you don’t touch work stations or unnecessary surfaces.
12. Don’t Forget To Smile – Even Under That Mask!
This will likely feel strange at first, but we promise we’re doing everything possible to serve you safely – so you can focus on having fun and enjoying your session! We’re determined to provide the same signature SchlickArt experience you expect with the safety precautions that will keep us all healthy. And we think that’s definitely something to smile about. So have fun, and remember …
We’re all in this together!
