As a SchlickArt Video Podcast Sponsor, you receive a professionally produced commercial in audio and video formats – both of which will be featured in a SchlickArt Video Podcast, as well as the marketing and promotion of the show you choose. 

Once your commercial is shot, edited, approved and ready to go, we attach your commercial to the video and audio versions of each episode that you purchase. 

“One of the great things about being a video podcast sponsor is you receive a fully produced, fully edited commercial that you can use on the podcast you’re sponsoring,” explained Lindsay Schlick, co-owner of SchlickArt Photography & Video in Santa Clarita. “We can film it here in the studio and help you with every step along the way.”

Q: Do I own the commercial?

Q: Can I use my commercial in other places besides the podcast? 

Yes, as a SchlickArt Video Podcast Sponsor, you receive a fully produced 1-minute commercial that you can use on all of your platforms – anywhere you need. That can include your website, social media, blog, YouTube channel, radio, TV and more. 

“Since my target audience is also small businesses, I wanted to have a Sponsor commercial on my own podcast,” Amanda explained. “I wanted my show to have a very professional, fully produced commercial of my own attached to it. But I also took that commercial and used it on my website, too. Right now, it sits on my home page, and because of my show, the traffic on my website is growing exponentially. This way, every time someone new visits my website, they get a professional video introduction to me, as well.” 

Q: How long does a video podcast commercial run for? 

If you find a SchlickArt-produced podcast that you like, you can appear in as many episodes of that podcast as you like. You can be a sponsor on that podcast for as long as you wish.

Once your commercial is added to a podcast episode, it will remain in that episode for the entire life of the podcast. It is never removed. It’s evergreen. 

We don’t take it down just because your sponsorship stops – which a lot of other platforms do.

Q: How is my commercial evergreen? What does that mean? 

When the episode initially airs, you will see a lot of people engaging with your content right off the bat. Your host will include your content when they share their episodes on social media, in the show notes and more. So you’ll get a big bump in visibility just from that. 

“By attaching your commercial to someone else’s show, your content is exposed to their entire audience,” Amanda explained. “That’s a lot of new eyes, who already trust you because the show host is recommending you.” 

Even after the initial airing, however, your content will continue to reach more and more people over time. 

“When people search for a certain topic that the podcast covers, that episode with your commercial will pop up,” Lindsay explained. “That’s how it can continue to live on forever, even after the episode has premiered. And that’s why it’s evergreen.”

For example, if someone’s searching for a topic on YouTube, and your episode discusses that topic, then the video version will show up in the YouTube search results. Plus, Google prioritizes videos in its search results, which means your video commercial has a better shot at being seen than any written content would. 

“A video podcast episode may be up for just a month and get hundreds of views, but after a few months or even years, it can reach thousands – or more,” Lindsay explained. “And it will only keep growing over time as more and more people find that episode.”

Q: How does a sponsorship work? 

As a SchlickArt Podcast Sponsor, you commit to six advertising appearances in a SchlickArt Video Podcast. An advertising appearance means your commercial will play during one of the episode’s commercial breaks. With six advertising appearances, your commercial will play in six episodes.

“It’s a subscription. If you want to sponsor six episodes, you can do that. If you want to sponsor 30 episodes, you can do that, too,” Lindsay explained. 

“It’s really the best bang for your buck,” Amanda shared. “Why? You’re getting in front of someone else’s audience – but you’re getting your message out there.”

Q: How do I become a video podcast sponsor?
