We received a huge surprise on Jan. 28 at the SCV Chamber of Commerce Awards & Installation when we were honored with the 2021 Entrepreneurial Spirit Award! We wanted to say a quick thank you. To those who nominated us, we are so grateful that you thought of us for this award. To everyone who has supported us over the years, you are the reason we keep that entrepreneurial spirit going each and every day! Our clients, friends and peers constantly inspire and motivate us to be better business owners and community members, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve you and this community.
We also want to thank the SCV Chamber of Commerce for always putting on a beautiful event for our local businesses every year – even during these unusual times. Their virtual ceremony set the standard for online galas and events in our business community, and we had so much fun attending from the comfort of our living room! Our exclusive three-course meal and cocktails from The Old Town Junction was such a treat, too. The off-menu dishes were specially designed for the event, and we were so glad we didn’t miss it!
We also wanted to congratulate the other businesses that were nominated and honored this year. The honor felt even more special because we were among so many business owners who had adapted to the challenges of 2020 with incredible skill and heart. We’ve all been through so much in the last year, doing everything we can to keep our families and businesses strong. It was such an honor to be included in this category of business owners.
Finally, we were so excited to be included in the Entrepreneurial Spirit nominees because we’ve always run our business by the philosophy that a rising tide lifts all ships. Supporting other businesses is one of our core values and favorite ways to get involved in the community. In 2021, we hope to see more of the unity and community support we saw throughout the pandemic. It’s what makes this city so special, and we’re proud to be part of it.
