When we put our time, energy and resources into creating marketing content, we want to make the most of it, right?

All it takes is a little bit of planning and forethought to create a set of marketing portraits that can last months or even the full year.

It doesn’t have to be complicated.

It just has to be intentional

Here are three ways to make the most of your next marketing photography session.

3 Ways To Maximize Your Next Marketing Photography Session

Plan

Make The Most Of Your Marketing Photography Session, Marketing Photography Session, santa clarita Marketing Photography Session, scv Marketing Photography Session, valencia Marketing Photography Session, saugus Marketing Photography Session, canyon country Marketing Photography Session, newhall Marketing Photography Session, Marketing Photography Session in santa clarita, Marketing Photography Session in scvWe once had a client come to her session with a full spreadsheet of all the posts she wanted to create for the next few months. She knew exactly what type of image she needed for every post, so we used her spreadsheet like a shot list – and created every single one. By the time she was done with her session, she’d created enough pre-planned content for months of stress-free, purposeful posting.

Though not everyone wants or needs this level of detail in their content planning, strategic planning is crucial if you want to create content that actually meets your marketing goals. Start by looking ahead at the next few months. Do you have any important campaigns, launches or events coming up? Do you need to prepare for seasonal promotions? Maybe you simply want to post more consistently, such as twice a week. Plan your posts out as far as you can, within reason, and make a list of the images you’ll need to complete those posts. That’s how you can create purposeful content, without wasting a frame.

Bonus Tip: Don’t post your new marketing images all at once! Even if you don’t create a spreadsheet for every image, make sure you space out your posting so all your images have the maximum impact.

Brand

Once you have an idea of the types of images you need for your upcoming marketing photography session, it’s time to think about your branding. What types of messages do you want to convey to your audience? How do you want them to feel when your post pops up on their feed? Consider the nonverbal messages you want your images to communicate, and we can help create images that help you say just that.

You’ll also want to consider your brand visuals, such as the color of your background and wardrobe. Dress to the level your brand requires. If you meet clients in a suit, wear that. If most of your client-facing interactions are done in a uniform or casual wear, bring that to your session. Consider your brand colors, as well. You can match your brand, complement your brand, or create something else entirely, especially if you’re creating lifestyle content for your socials. When it comes to backgrounds, we can help you choose the perfect color or look to make your brand colors pop.

Variety

Once you’ve got your plan and your look figured out, it’s time to create as much content as possible. That’s where variety becomes essential. Not only do brands need a large inventory of marketing images, but they also need a wide variety to keep things fresh and interesting.

Rather than sacrificing quality for quantity, however, we’ve discovered the trick is creating a large batch of professional portraits in one shoot, while providing multiple opportunities to add variety with every sessionFor example, we include wardrobe changes with each session. We also offer customized set design, as well as sessions that combine in-studio portraiture and on-location portraiture in one. If you’re looking to create a month (or more!) of high-quality yet diverse social media images in one streamlined, luxury shoot, we’re here to help you bring your vision to life. We provide all the guidance, time and space you need to produce 30+ images in one easy, confidence-boosting marketing photography session. Because that’s the SchlickArt experience.
